Have you ever attended a wedding…in hopes that it wouldn’t end?
Everything was beautiful…the couple and their love for one another, their kids capturing the essence of true love- beholden before them, the glow of a huge heart behind the sweetheart table, flickering candles and the flowers….
fresh and lush…hmmm,
that was an unbiased opinion – by the way;
 and the whole wedding tucked away..
. back in a meadow, quiet and romantic, dark and secluded,
perched a top the green landscape of Strawberry Farms,
 Michelle Johnson Photography
 in the background…working her magic – capturing all the details, the smell of champagne and good wine,,,,laughter and love filled the air….
 it all added together, slowly and then all at once it was here…just like falling in love can be.
I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.”

Family, Faith and believing in one another’s best…
is your first impression when you meet the Ladd’s
They cheer for one another in their victories and surround you in love at the  losses.
there is a sense of no one is ever alone in this home.
They are a family of strong successful women, coached and lived out by
top producer of Remax realestate – Kathy Ladd
As we gathered to discuss the details of Shannon and Mannys wedding
the family in their entirety came to our first meeting…I quickly pulled outextra chairs and rearranged the table area as they laughed and called out toone another in excitement as if they {all} were about to take the same steps
in marriage as Shannon.It was one of the sweetest moments for me to

witness…
The theme was romantic and vintage rustic…she was wearing boots and he
would wear all black.  We pulled old ceiling tiles from a saloon in ohio and
used those as the center design.  filled vintage boxes with texture and cottage roses, bay leaves, scabiosa flowers and succulents.

{A Love Affair}
Moments captured by Michelle Johnson Photography
Ok, lets just say,,,i had my own little love affair with this wedding.
the colors, flowers, that wedding dress….the bride and groom.
they had it all…Exquis …{french for Outstanding, superb}
The ceremony took place at Mariners Church, filled with its rich woods and beautiful natural light, lots of candles in which, cast a soft romantic hue
over the ceremony – it was breathtaking.
I love to watch as much as I can of the ceremony…without getting noticed
. however: I find myself inching forward to hear every spoken word of love and commitment…eventually; finding myself filling in an empty spot next to the Aunt of somebody.
Its why we florist of the wedding industry do what and why we do.
its why we hit the flower mart at 3am in the morning and
get each detail to the wedding as near perfect as humanly able.
We have a love affair for love affairs…plain and simple.
